The White Album

I've gotten behind on my blogs already! I'll be back soon, with comments on Lennon Naked, the BBC program on Lennon in the late 60s, and the promised "John Sinclair: Come-Back-All-Is-Forgiven" blog, but in the meantime:

A friend of mine has been posting his Favorite records on Facebook, and included the White Album. I wrote this comment, which I thought was (relatively) clever and pithy, and thus reproduce it here:

"At one and the same time an aural document of a band imploding and the template for the next phase of rock music, more eclectic and knowing, it has always been the Beatles' album I listen to the most."
